I am a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, received first in the Belgian final exam of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum (CCP, 2019). I hold the titles of Doctor of Medicine (MD, UCLouvain, 2010), Doctor of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (PhD, UCLouvain 2018), and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS, University Lyon 1, 2004), My surgical training (general and specialized) has been provided in several centers of excellence in Belgium (Brussels, Namur, Ghent) and internationally: Luxembourg, England (Cambridge, Manchester), France (Amiens). From 2019 to 2021 I practiced at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc (department of Pr Benoît Lengelé), developing particular expertise in reconstruction and aesthetics of the face, breast, perineum and thorax. I am also a specialist in reconstruction of the post-bariatric silhouette (body contouring). Then, I practiced at the Wellness Kliniek in Genk (Belgium), a world-renowned center for cosmetic surgery, an experience that allowed me to perfect the range of my skills and efficiency in this area, particularly in prosthetic breast augmentation. .

I am also a recognized researcher in Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering, since my 4 years of thesis in science, and still an active member of several international learned societies. I had the honor of receiving the Lucien Deloyer prize from the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium and the prize from the National Academy of Surgery (France), for my work in the regeneration of composite tissues (face and hand). Finally, I am a lecturer, author and co-author of numerous international publications in plastic surgery and tissue engineering, maintaining an active approach to publications and research, in order to stay as close as possible to knowledge and innovation, fundamental and clinical.

Philosophy: even a specialist must think and act like a family doctor, from the first consultation to the final gesture of consolidation. The care of a patient is a whole, and the reconstructive or aesthetic act will have an impact at different levels: psychological, family, social, work. This is the essence of a personalized approach in which the surgical arsenal will find an appropriate place: I am known for making consultations last (!), but it is essential to obtain joint adherence to a treatment plan. I am therefore very happy to join the Mazi Center today, which represents exactly the environment of care conducive to a human, global, family medical approach and excellence.
